The 49ers struggled in the later part of the 90s and early 2000s, but the team has seen a resurgence in recent years. In 2011 and 2012, the team reached the NFC Championship game under head coach Jim Harbaugh but failed to win the Super Bowl. Despite this, the team has continued to build a solid foundation through the draft and free agency and has a promising future ahead.
The 49ers have a passionate fanbase, known as the “Faithful,” who have supported the team through thick and thin.
